Music and Enrichment Appeal

“Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without.”

Confucius

Why do we need your support?

In recognition of the value that we place on music in our school and to celebrate the contribution that Mrs Lesley Ewens has made as the school’s music teacher for almost 40 years, we are delighted to be launching the Dulwich Village Church of England Infants’ School Music and Enrichment Appeal.

To maintain our music provision, we are seeking to raise £20,000 annually to ensure that we can:

  • Retain our specialist music teaching
  • Continue to develop our rich music curriculum with the involvement of specialist musicians, performers and musical experiences
  • Replace and replenish our instruments, our nativity and musical theatre costumes and other musical resources.

At a time when school funding is challenging, the ongoing Dulwich Village Church of England Infants’ School Music and Enrichment Appeal will help to ensure that music and all it enriches and contributes to young children’s early learning and development, is preserved in the years to come.
