“Much of what young children do as play - singing, drawing, dancing - are natural forms of art. These activities engage all the senses and help wire the brain for successful learning.”
The school’s Breakfast Club is open to all children at the school and to siblings of the infants’. It is run by school staff.
The club opens at 7:45am and finishes when the children are taken to their classes for the start of the school day on either site.
Breakfasts are healthy and offer a range of foods including toast, cereals, juice and yoghurts, and occasionally waffles, pastries and smoothies. Once the children have had their breakfast, activities are set out for them to enjoy, including the use of the playground.
This year has seen the launch of provision for after school care at Dulwich Village Infants' School. Children can now be collected after school and are taken to the club home which is based in the Francis Building. A hot meal and activities are provided for all the children. Care finishes at 6.15pm.
