Fundraising & Donations

At DVIS we believe in supporting learning with the widest possible range of experiences and resources. In order to provide these, we are actively fundraising to ensure that DVIS children keep flourishing. All contributions are warmly received and appreciated.

There are three channels for fundraising, each with separate purposes:

  • One-Off Appeals (for big-ticket items, e.g. refurbishing the playground)

Ongoing Fundraising through regular events (for items which the PTFA annually funds, e.g. coaches for school trips, Doodlemaths subscriptions, Christmas Panto)

Gift Aid can be added to all donations to the PTFA

  • As a Voluntary Aided school, we request a Voluntary Contribution to the ‘Governors Fund’. This is used to cover much-needed maintenance of the school buildings.

These items are not as exciting as new playgrounds and school trips, but a safe and well-maintained building is completely essential to learning. Recent examples include the refurbishment of the kitchen, new ceilings in the Francis Building, and the underpinning of the floor in the Francis Building.

A letter regarding the Governors Fund is sent annually containing the payment details. Click HERE for the letter for this year.

If you would like further details about how to make this contribution, please contact the school office on office@dulwichvillage.southwark.sch.uk

Gift Aid can be added to Governors’ Fund donations. This form can be found here: LINK

  • Voluntary Contributions

We ask parents for an annual Voluntary Contribution to cover the costs of additional experiences organised to support the children’s learning, including external trips, and visits and events at school. [Link to ‘Experiences’ page?]

    Regular Giving

Some parents have generously set up a monthly contribution which goes direct to the school.

If you would like to set up a regular contribution please email the school office.

Although we are not able to benefit from Gift Aid on contributions paid directly to the school, we can use this money to cover costs which the PTFA cannot pay for, such as normal overheads (energy costs, SEND services, staff costs, etc) which all enhance the experiences for our learners and community.

  • Anyone is able to give regularly to the School – alumni, businesses, grandparents, carers and more! Some have generously set up a monthly contribution which goes direct to the school.
