The School Day
The School is located on two sites – the Lake Building (Reception and Year 1 Classes) and Francis Building (Year 2 Classes).
Lake Building start and end times 8:50-3:20pm (NB doors open 5 minutes before the start time)
Francis Building start and end times 9-3:30pm
Please see below the timetable for the whole school e.g. when PE and music takes place.
Breakfast Club starts at 7:45am in the Lake Hall.
Play time is 15 minutes and takes place in the respective buildings – Lake 10am and Francis 10:20am. Children will be given free fruit or vegetables at around this time in the day.
Lunch time is staggered over 1.5 hours. Reception from 11:45am, Year 1 and Year 2 from 12noon.
Worship is after lunch each day, 1:15pm to 1:30pm.
After school clubs take place on both sites (mainly on the children’s year group site).
Termly Events
Reading Café is a time for parents to come into the classroom and read a book with their child and some other children first thing in the morning once as week (Reception is on Thursday and Year 1 and year 2 on Fridays.
TLCs, or Termly Learning Conferences, are the parent meetings we hold in the autumn and spring terms. They are 10 minutes per child and invitations are sent out for you to book online.
Open classroom is an opportunity for parents to come and look around the classroom with their child at the end of the school day. The child can talk about what they have been learning at school that half term.
Parent lunches are another opportunity to enjoy school with your child. Once a year we invite parents to come to lunch with their child and enjoy a school lunch in the hall with the other parents and children.
