Our Church 

Dulwich Village C of E Infants’ School is connected to St Barnabas with Christ Chapel. The Church is a thriving and welcoming space for all people on their Christian journey. There is a whole host of activities to be a part of from the Church services, to Messy Church for children and families or the amazing choir for adults and children. The connection we have goes beyond St Barnabas simply being ‘our church’ – it is a relationship that we enjoy and nurture with Revd Liz Barnett, the Vicar. Liz, or a member of the Church team, lead worship at DVIS each week, building a wonderful relationship between the whole School and the Church. Liz also serves as a Governor on the Governing Body and is an integral member of the Church Group that works to ensure the theologically based vision of the School is developed and flourishes. 

The School worship at St Barnabas for key celebrations in the Christian calendar such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter. We also celebrate the end of the School journey with our Year 2s at St Barnabas in the summer term as we present each of them with a bible and pray for them as they move on to new schools.
